Ingredients

  • ½ recipe Microwave Strawberry Compote (if you have to be careful of seeds, see Chef Tips)
  • ¾ cup plain yogurt
  • ¼ teaspoon cinnamon
  • ½ teaspoon vanilla extract
  • ¼ cup cooked oatmeal
  • A few ice cubes
  • ½ cup milk of choice, as needed
  • 2 tablespoons maple syrup, or to taste

Directions

  1. Combine compote, yogurt, cinnamon, vanilla extract, oatmeal, and ice cubes in a blender and mix until until smooth. Add milk as needed for consistency. Taste for sweetness and add maple syrup if needed.

Chef Tips

If you have to be careful of eating small seeds, just push the compote through a medium sieve with the back of a spoon straight into the blender. The compote is soft, and this won’t take too much effort to do.
