Stent Management
The key to staying nourished with a stent is to eat soft or liquified foods, take smaller bites, chew thoroughly, and drink at least 8 ounces of liquid to help food pass through a stent. Also, be sure to avoid any hard foods that could get stuck, like nuts and crusty breads.
