Bland Diet

A bland diet — foods that are soft, not spicy, and low in fat and fiber — can help with nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, and gas after stomach or intestinal surgery.  Avoiding gas-producing foods such as cruciferous vegetables is also recommended.
